Privacy policy

This policy explains which personal data we process when you visit livsystems.eu, why, and how long we keep it. The controller is LIV SYSTEMS d.o.o. in Postojna, Slovenia. Until you accept cookies, the site loads no analytics tool.

Hosting and log files

Hostinger International Ltd. (Larnaca, Cyprus) hosts this site on our behalf. On each visit, the server records the IP address, the date and time, the page requested and the browser used. We need this to run the site and protect it against attacks (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete these log files after 14 days.

Cookies and consent

Without your agreement, the site sets only the technical cookies it needs to work, for example the session (PHPSESSID) and form protection. On your first visit, a banner offers two buttons, "Accept all cookies" and "Necessary cookies only". If you choose the second, the site loads neither Google Tag Manager nor any other analytics tool. Your choice is stored in a cookie (INcookiesDisable or INcookiesPartial) for 90 days, after which the banner returns. You can withdraw your agreement earlier by deleting this site's cookies in your browser. The Cookies page describes each cookie and lets you refuse some of them. Legal basis for analytics: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4

If you accept cookies, the site loads Google Tag Manager, which is used to run Google Analytics 4. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google may transfer data to Google LLC in the United States. This transfer relies on the European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 (EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

Microsoft Clarity

If you accept cookies, we also use Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland). Clarity records clicks, scrolling and mouse movement on our pages. We use it to see where visitors look in vain for a piece of information and to fix those pages.

Forms and quote requests

When you fill in a form, we process the details you enter (name, company, e-mail, telephone, message and attachments) to answer your request (Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). The request is stored in the site database and reaches us by e-mail, through Zoho Mail. We may record it in our customer relationship tool, Zoho CRM. Zoho Corporation B.V. (Netherlands) processes this data on our behalf. We delete a request at the latest 24 months after the last contact, unless a legal retention obligation or a current contract requires otherwise.

Newsletter and social media

We send the newsletter with Zoho Campaigns, and only to people who have consented. Every e-mail carries an unsubscribe link. We manage our social media profiles with Zoho Social. When you visit these profiles, the privacy rules of each network apply.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, their correction, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and you can object to processing based on our legitimate interest. You can withdraw a consent at any time, without affecting what happened before. Write to info@livsystems.eu. You can also lodge a complaint with the Slovenian authority (Informacijski pooblaščenec, Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, www.ip-rs.si) or with the authority in your country.
