Classic Metal stamping and Forming

At LIV Systems, our metal stamping and forming process is a sophisticated operation that utilises precision dies and punches to shape flat metal sheets into specific shapes. We are equipped to handle a variety of complex techniques, including punching, embossing, flanging, and coining, making us ideal for high-volume, precision-driven production needs.

Transfer and Servo Pressing

Utilising the newest technology, our transfer pressing involves moving a workpiece through several press stations. This sequential approach allows complex shaping, precise dimensional control,maximum material efficiency  and efficient alteration, perfect for intricate component manufacturing.

Servo pressing represents a new trend in metal forming, allowing the production of challenging sheet metal products in a single line, offering greater flexibility in dimensioning and design.

Deep drawing

Deep drawing is a metal forming process used to create hollow, seamless parts with a depth greater than their diameter. By drawing a sheet metal blank into a forming die with a punch. This technique involves applying a force to the metal sheet, causing it to stretch and form over the contours of a die, thus creating a deep, cup-shaped part.

Zinc electroplating & Passivation

To ensure robust corrosion resistance to metal products, zinc plating and passivation combo is a must. While zinc electroplating creates a protective barrier, passivation enhances this effect by reducing chemical reactivity on the surface, ensuring long-term durability.

Trimming, rolling and curling

Trimming involves removing a small amount of material from the edge of a sheet metal workpiece to achieve a clean, uniform edge.

Curling involves rolling the edge of a sheet metal component into a cylindrical or conical shape. Curling enhances the strength, rigidity, and aesthetics of the component, and it can also provide a protective barrier against sharp edges.
